Impex ‘s origins go back to being a bass player in Metal, Rock and Hardcore bands since 2004.

This is where his love for performing and creating heavier music begins. As a part of the rythmic section of the groups, he quickly developed a taste for broken beats and groovy basslines.

After finding himself trapped between the other paths that band members wanted to follow, he chooses to go on his own.

After attending his first Therapy Sessions in Lisbon in 2009 decided that Drum n Bass was the way to go.

With the help of other producers and friends, he suddenly found himself absolutely submerged in music production and experimentation with sound design.

More than just another tune, another track, another sound… it’s a New vibe, a New approach and an expression of feelings.
