Hi , Im Phil "THE FI5TH'' Norwich , U.K based Drum & Bass DJ / Producer. My preferred style of D'n'B is Neurofunk/Tech step and I've been Dj'ing since I was 16 and learnt how to mix on my brothers old Citronic mrk2 decks with his selection of jump up ,Moving shadow vinyls. then I was hooked from then on out loving the dark atmospheres and deep rolling bass lines I began buying vinyls religiously every week. I played with my mates Josh , Craig aka (SKUD) and victor in our bedrooms. Craig was first introduced to the ''guerrilla warfare'' CD which turned us all to the darker side of DnB for good and we played whenever we could at local free parties For ''Tree house sounds'' Adam was the sound engineer and it was a group effort from a few other guys from school who used to do parties in their local village in a treehouse. slowly upgrading the equipment to a stack of VOID Psychos! which we took to France for the Teknivals from 2009 to 2012. I bought my first Mac book in 2008 with a copy of logic pro 9 and began producing D'n'B but didn't really create anything of any good standard until I upgraded my MAC in 2018 with logic x , and really knuckled down & began learning sound design / Mixing and mastering . then I started speaking to Ian Close 2 death label owner where I got my first release ''WOLFMAN'' as a free download with 2 more tracks and a collab with ''Rico'' on the corridors of death new breed asylum!
